Catherine Reid, LCSW, leads the Care Management team. A graduate of Fordham University’s School of Social Work, she received her MSW in 2000. She has over ten (10) years experience in the field of geriatrics, providing clinical oversight and development of programs that enhance the quality of life of older adults.
Client Care Managers
Victoria Black, MA Gerontology, has over five (5) years of experience in the senior living industry. Her Master’s thesis emphasized the idea of Quality of Life at the End of Life. Her growth through the company has given her breadth and depth as a valued Client Care and Care Coordination Manager for Reliable.
Talya Onorato, MA Gerontology, has enjoyed over thirteen (13) years working with the elderly. She specializes in dementia care and caregiver strategies. She has worked in an Adult Day Program, administrated an Assisted Living Facility, and volunteered for several agencies. Talya thrives at helping older adults receive the highest level of care while maintaining their dignity and independence.
How Our Care Managers Work
They use a multi-step care management process that is carefully planned and orchestrated to ensure you and your family are receiving the best possible care at all times. Care management is included in our pricing.
Proper identification of need is determined at the outset. This confidential personal assessment visit includes the individual, often members of the family and appropriate medical team. Together, they determine the initial plan of care.
We match the most appropriate caregiver. Based on the individual’s needs and input from the family, the most appropriate caregiver is identified and matched from the Reliable Caregivers team.
Thorough training makes a difference. The Care Manager oversees the placement and training of the caregiver so they understand any special needs that may be required. Caregivers receive ongoing training to sharpen their skills and comply with State of CA Home Care Services Bureau Standards (minimum 5 hours/year).
Ongoing supervision gives you peace of mind. A Care Manager carefully monitors the progress of the case, making sure the best possible care is being provided. These regular visits are scheduled at your convenience and you know the results.

Through his dedication and expertise, Reliable Caregivers and all employees know that they are being respected and appreciated. Prior work at a Staffing agency and other industries, plus continued learning, give Everett the know-how and confidence to meet industry, government and business standards.
Denise Alexander, Staffing Supervisor, has over nine (9) years of experience, ensuring that each caregiver’s skill set is properly matched to the specific needs of each patient. She oversees the Staffing Coordinators, ensuring that all Clients are provided the highest level of care they can always expect from a Reliable caregiver.
